Full Removable Dentures
Our full removable dentures are the types of dentures you would generally think of when someone mentions “dentures.” These dentures can often be ill-fitting and uncomfortable. At Parkway Dental, we work hard to eliminate that concern. Our office works directly with a lab to ensure a beautiful, comfortable, well-fitting denture that you will love to wear.
Our dentures are comprised of beautifully designed crowns placed into an acrylic base in order to contribute to a natural-looking, comfortable tooth replacement option. They require a denture adhesive to stay in place and are easily removable for routine cleaning. These dentures in Snellville, GA are an affordable, noninvasive option for replacing your missing teeth.
We offer partial dentures for those who are missing a few teeth instead of a mouth full. Partial dentures are perfect for replacing two or more of your natural teeth. These dentures, like full removable dentures, are made up of beautifully crafted crowns set into an acrylic base. A clasp is used to secure the partial denture to the nearby teeth. We even offer partial dentures with tooth-colored clasps instead of metal ones!
An implant-supported bridge may also be an option for you. Implant-supported bridges are similar to partial dentures, except that they are secured by dental implants placed directly into your gums. Learn more about dental bridges here.

In those instances, if we can assist with some sort of mini implants or an implant-supported denture, it makes a tremendous amount of difference. Basically, have a couple of small titanium screws that are placed under local anesthetic; it's no different than getting a filling as far as the amount of discomfort and time. Those implants are placed there. We give those implants several months to integrate into the bone, and then we come back and we fit the denture to basically snap into it. Eventually, like a button on a pair of pants or on your jacket, that's how that denture will snap into place. It will allow you much more security when you're eating some more difficult foods.
Implant-retained dentures work much like full removable dentures except that they are anchored to your jawbone using dental implants and ball attachments. This option is great for those who are concerned about their removable dentures moving around on them. Dental implants provide security and stability for your replacement teeth.
Implant-supported dentures are like implant-retained dentures, except that they use a bar attachment instead of balls. Depending on your specific needs, we can help you determine which implant-secured denture option is right for you.
Waiting on your dentures to be crafted? We work closely with the lab in order to get your dentures quickly – sometimes in as little as two weeks! While you wait, we can offer you temporary or immediate dentures that will help you look your best. Our temporary dentures are comfortable and look great, and they will help you stave off the sunken-in facial appearance of living without teeth.
