No Dental Insurance? Don’t Put Off Oral Care
About 40 percent of the people in this country do not have access to dental insurance. Unfortunately, many of those people choose to forego dental care. Our Snellville Ga., dental office is ready to handle your dental care.
Parkway Dental is a full-service dental practice that treats patients of all ages and dental complications. Whether you need prevention, cosmetic dentistry, or even extensive restorative dental treatment, our office is the place for you. We have FREE consultations, too, so we’d be happy to give you a second opinion.
Don’t Let Insurance Companies Tell You What’s Best
The average dental insurance provider in this country provides cardholders with an annual allotment between $1,000 to $1,500. That amount is OK for the person with great teeth or minor problems, but you can eat up your annual allotment fast if you need restorative dentistry. Most dental insurance providers only cover about half the cost of a restoration like a crown, and of course, not every treatment is covered. Additionally, insurance companies often have limitations for how often you can restore a tooth (insurance will generally cover crown replacement after 5 years).
Parkway Dental accepts several many insurance providers, and we’ll work with you to get the most bang for your buck. But we also encourage patients do what’s best for their smile instead of simply following what insurance covers. Too often we see patients waiting for insurance to cover a service, and then their dental health continues to slide. That’s why our office has introduce an in-office savings plan and special financing. That way if you’re hit with a major dental problem or need extensive reconstruction, you can fix it at the most appropriate time instead of waiting on your insurance.
Don’t Put Off Treatment
People without dental insurance often skip treatments, especially prevention treatments. In fact, many people without insurance often wait until something is wrong. Here’s a piece of advice: prevention is always cheaper than restorative dentistry. Additionally, it’s easier to pay out-of-pocket for your cleanings and exams rather than need extensive dental work after years of avoiding the dentist.
A simple filling in this country is about $200, but the cost of a root canal and dental crown is much more expensive, potentially thousands without the help of insurance. Bottom line,, you can spend a little now or a lot later.
At Parkway Dental, we are using the latest technology and techniques to give our patients a better smile. We’d love to help you achieve your smile goals and keep your teeth forever. Even if you’re without insurance or you’ve reached an age and dental status where dental insurance can’t help, we can still help you here. So give our office a call today at (770) 676-1122.
