I’m Having a Hard Time Chewing

Read Transcript

Are you having a hard time chewing due to a missing tooth? Are you living without teeth or with dentures you hate? We can help. We offer three types of tooth replacement options that can each solve your chewing problems, depending on your specific situation. Read on for more information on these options.

Dental Implant Services

Dental implants are our most reliable tooth replacement option. Dental implants are placed directly into your gum and allowed to fuse with your jawbone. This creates a strong foundation for your replacement tooth. We can craft your replacement tooth to match the specifications you desire. We want your new tooth to look and feel great!

We offer both traditional dental implants and mini dental implants. Our dental implants can replace almost 100 percent of your natural chewing ability. To find out if our dental implant services are right for you, please talk to one of our doctors.

Denture Options

If you are missing more than just a couple teeth, we also offer dentures. We offer full removable dentures, partial dentures, implant-retained dentures, implant-secured dentures, and temporaries. Full removable dentures are the traditional types of denture that most often come to mind. Partials replace only some of your teeth, not the entire arch. Implant-retained and implant-supported dentures are anchored to your jawbone using dental implants. Temporary dentures are designed to be used only for a few weeks, or until your permanent dentures come in from the lab. We work closely with the lab in order to get your dentures to you as quickly as possible, sometimes in as little as two weeks. The type of denture you choose will be determined by your specific situation.

Fixed Bridges and Implant-Supported Bridges

We also offer fixed bridges and implant-supported bridges. Fixed bridges are made up of three or more crowns and are used to literally “bridge” the gap left by a missing tooth. The fixed bridge is cemented to the surrounding teeth and is not removable. An implant-supported bridge works much like a partial denture, but is anchored to your jawbone using dental implants. Again, the type of bridge you choose is completely dependant upon your specific circumstance.
